7/26~27 オープンキャンパス

7/26~27の2日間にわたってオープンキャンパスが開催されました。

去年と異なり入場制限もなくなったため、キャンパス内は多くの高校生たちで賑わっていました！

大学生活や研究について知ってもらうことができました！

先日、伊藤・椋平研究室と伊藤・鈴木（杏）研究室では、新メンバー加入に際してWelcome partyを行いました。

実は4月の頭に伊藤先生と僕（椋平）は，共同研究をおこなっているスイスのチューリッヒ工科大学と，研究フィールドであるBudretto underground labを訪問していました。伊藤研とETHのXiodong Ma博士のグループとで共同研究促進研究費もスイス政府から獲得していました。今回はETH側からは，同プロジェクトの弾性波モニタリングチームのリーダーであるDr. Anne Obermann博士と，その博士学生のMartina Rosskopfさんに伊藤研を訪問して頂きました。プロジェクトの進捗を発表して頂いたり，実験設備を見学してもらったり，こちらの研究を紹介したりと，充実した研究交流を行いました。

こちらは二人によるプロジェクトの紹介と最新の研究結果の講演の様子です。ご参加頂きありがとうございました。



Ito & Suzuki lab in JpGU

伊藤研・鈴木研のメンバーがJpGUに参加しそれぞれ研究発表を行いました。

グループランチの後，参加者みんなで取りました。鈴木研蓮見君は初参加。スーツトラップにも引っかかりませんでした。友達もできたそうです。

Dianさんは初めての参加。日本語ばかりだったかな。

新年度開始！お花見をしました！

2023/4/27

新年度が始まり、伊藤研・鈴木研では新メンバーを迎えてお花見を行いました。

今年は桜が散るのが早かったですがなんとか”葉見”にならずに楽しむことが出来て良かったです。

お弁当を食べたりビールなどの飲み物を飲みながら桜の花の下、メンバー同士談笑に花を咲かせており、良い親睦の機会になったと思います。

今年度も研究室一同研究に勤しんで参りますので宜しくお願い致します。








 

令和4年度修了・卒業

2023/3/27

今年度、伊藤研究室からはM2、B4がそれぞれ１名ずつ修了・卒業しました。

脱コロナに向けて環境が目まぐるしく変わる中で、研究や就活と困難なことが多くあったと思います。

本当にお疲れさまでした。

改めて、修了・卒業おめでとうございます！



神岡鉱山での掘削試験

M2の多田です。

先日、伊藤先生と神岡鉱山で行われた掘削試験に行きました。

試験は自分が現在研究している地殻応力測定法についてのものです。

初めて現場を目にし、その際にプロジェクトに携っている方々とお話しすることもできたのでとても貴重な経験ができました。



Dian at SGW2023

My name is Dian Darisma, and I’m from Indonesia. In 2021, I came to Sendai to pursue a PhD at the Department of Environmental Studies for Advanced Society at Tohoku University. Under the supervision of Dr. Yusuke Mukuhira at Ito-Muku lab (Energy Resources Geomechanics Laboratory), I’m currently working with microseismic data to identify fracture network models.



 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Recently, I had the incredible opportunity to attend the Stanford Geothermal Workshop on February 6-8, 2023. This was an amazing experience for me as I was able to meet geothermal scientists whom I had previously only known by name from their books or papers. During the trip, I had a funny story that I’ll never forget for the rest of my life. I had bought an onigiri for lunch before departing from Sendai to Tokyo, but I ended up eating so much at a lounge in Haneda Airport that the onigiri remained untouched and ended up traveling with me all the way to the US. In the US, I bought a muffin that I planned to eat at night, but the conference provided so much food that I didn’t get a chance to finish it. I ended up bringing the muffin back with me to Sendai.

 



 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

In addition to working on my PhD project, I had the opportunity to work with geothermal scientists from the national agency FREA-AIST last year. I contributed to a project on “Application of simultaneous relocation and clustering algorithms to microseismic data.” This project taught me that some approaches can be applied to my PhD project that I hadn’t considered before.

Ph.D. student, Dian Darisma and me (Y. Mukuhira) attended the Stanford Geothermal Workshop 2023 and delivered two presentations related to our recent research.
This was the first in-person international conference after the pandemic to me, and it was the first trip to the US for Dian. We both are so excited about a lot.

真空オーブン買いました。

伊藤研では新たに真空オーブンを購入しました。
試料を乾燥させたり，脱水させる時に使用します。これで効率的に実験で使用する試料を作成することができるようになりました。
